Samsung has officially launched Galaxy R, which was earlier rumored to be named as Galaxy Z. The smartphone is a trimmed down version of Galaxy SII, but is still expected to be a hit in the market. It has a 4.2 inch Super Clear LCD unlike the Super AMOLED Plus display of Galaxy SII.   It seems, the manufacturer is not in a mood to compromise with the hardware of the phone and has decided to stick to the dual-core processor for Galaxy R (though, the processor type has yet not been disclosed).
