iPhone 13 Review: How’s it Different from the iPhone 12

The good-looking iPhone 13 has stolen the limelight with its flawless performance and amazing camera. The new iPhone comes with a couple of upgrades over the iPhone 12 including a bigger battery, advanced processor, smarter camera and better display. Let’s talk about all these aspects of the new iPhone 13 in detail: Design The iPhone 13 shares similar looks with the iPhone 12. It has a glass back flat screen design and aluminium chassis with rounded edges, which is already there in the iPhone 12. However, the difference lies in the camera module and the power button that is shifted slightly to the right side. The new iPhone weighs more than the iPhone 12 (maybe because of the battery), but it is lighter than most of the other models of iPhone.  Performance The iPhone 13 comes with an A15 Bionic chipset, which is 50 percent faster in terms of CPU performance and 30 percent faster in terms of GPU performance. If numbers are to be believed, the A15 chipset can perform 15.8 tril...

Nokia Windows Mango 7.5 Phone Review - The Good & The Bad Things

When everybody was expecting Nokia to finally adapt to Android OS, the Finnish cellphone manufacturer decided to count upon Microsoft for improving its market presence. It was 6 months back, Nokia officially announced that its new phone will be running on Windows. And the company has recently launched two Windows phones, Lumia 800 and 710 in market. Running on OS 7.5 Mango, both the phones have received a mixed response in market. Now, the next big question is, will Nokia be able to re-establish itself in the market with Windows mobile? Microsoft’s Philosophy Microsoft doesn’t believe in post PC World. The software giant has always tried to keep the products in its very own ecosystem. This is quite apparent when we see that most of the Microsoft’s software are compatible with most PCs. Recently, Microsoft has disappointed consumers by announcing that there would be no tablet edition of Windows 7. The next version of Windows, i.e. Windows 8 will ru...

There’s one more addition to Nokia’s lineup of smartphones. Running on Anna, Nokia 500 is first Symbian device with 1GHz processor. The latest entrant by Nokia looks stylish, feels great in hand, and comes with lot of features at a pocket friendly price. Nokia has released the phone in shades of Blue, Red, Green, Pink, Black& White and every unit comes with 2 additional back covers. If you are a Nokia phone lover, this new entry is a delight for you. One thing I would like to emphasize about is the look and feel of the phone. Though, Nokia 500 is 14.1mm thick but it feels so sleek and light weighted in hand. Nokia has not compromised with the quality of plastic body and the phone is definitely sturdy. Nokia 500 has 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen with nHD display for an improved view. It has ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the display brightness, proximity sensor for turning off the display automatically, and accelerometer sensor...

Difference Between iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S

Talks about the launch of Apple iPhone 5 were in the air for the last 6 months or so, but Apple gave tech lovers a shock by introducing the iPhone 4S. Not many people know that iPhone 4S shares specs similar to what could have been in the rumored iPhone 5. Targeted as “the next generation iPhone”, iPhone 4S is not bigger or sleeker than iPhone 4 (dimensions are same) but the device weighs 140grams (iPhone 4 weighs 137grams). But, what is under the hood is definitely astounding.  So, what makes iPhone 4S better than iPhone 4? The iPhone 4S has dual core Apple A5 processor, which makes the phone twice as fast as iPhone 4. The new intelligent antenna system will not only improve the call quality, but also increase the connection speed. How can we miss out on the all-new and much talked-about iOS5 and Siri. Using both, you can make your device perform multiple tasks just by speaking. You can ask questions like “Which day is Christmas falling this year?” or “The weather in Delh...

Vodafone 555 Blue - The Affordable Facbook Phone

There’s a lot of buzz about the Facebook phone from Vodafone, 555 Blue. After reading about the phone on Internet, I decided to compile the scattered information in to one blog. I am still waiting to get my hands on this affordable wonder phone from Vodafone, but we can at least talk about the obvious things this phone comes with. Overall Appearance Resembling HTC Chacha, Vodafone 555 Blue comes with a dedicated Facebook button and the operator is even giving one year free FB access to Vodafone subscribers with this phone. Looking at the close-up shots of the phone, I can make out that build quality isn’t that great. Just 12mm thick device has nice silver and white matt finish and 4 soft keys plus a trackpad just below the screen. The phone doesn’t have a full QWERTY keypad but the keys are big enough and suitable for easy texting. On the sides – The phone has volume control and camera key on the right side, a microUSB port on left side, and louds...

“The Thinnest BlackBerry Smartphone Yet”, is definitely a catchy statement for the new BlackBerry Bold 9900. Just 10.5mm thick, Bold 9900 is powered by OS v7.0 and 1.2GHz processor. The Touch & Type device definitely has the best keyboard, highest resolution, and much superior specs than its predecessors. Things You Will Love About the New Bold 9900? Liquid Graphics touchscreen – Means better response time and more fluidic animations on your phone’s screen. High resolution display – The phone has 24-bit display with 640 x 480 pixels resolution and supports 16M colors. Higher resolution will definitely work as an add-on to your 720HD video playback support. Samsung Unveils the Galaxy R

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy R, which was earlier rumored to be named as Galaxy Z. The smartphone is a trimmed down version of Galaxy SII, but is still expected to be a hit in the market. It has a 4.2 inch Super Clear LCD unlike the Super AMOLED Plus display of Galaxy SII.   It seems, the manufacturer is not in a mood to compromise with the hardware of the phone and has decided to stick to the dual-core processor for Galaxy R (though, the processor type has yet not been disclosed). The phone has Gingerbread OS, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal memory. Camera has been reduced to 5MP but the device can capture HD 720p videos @25fps and can play 1080p HD videos. No changes have been made in the connectivity specs of the phone and it will still have Bluetooth v3.0 plus Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support. Coming to the look n feel of the device  – Just 9.5mm thick device appears to be the exact replica of Galaxy S2. The metallic design makes the device feel sturdy in hands. Oth...
